We have recently been informed that due to servers being relocated from Methodist Church House in London, that the Methodist Online Suite and other Connexional databases at Methodist Church House will be unvailable on Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th December 2022.

We wanted to advise you of a number of specific issues which will arise during the times when the servers are down, as this will mean that the Managing Trustees will not be able to access or edit the online consents system at this time.

This will impact Managing Trustees and TMCP as there won’t be any:

  • Dates of consent added
  • Uploading documents to system to review e.g. QSRs
  • Ability to review documents on system
  • Confirmation of project sign off, e.g. district consent
  • Automatic notifications of any new projects or edits to any projects being sent to TMCP
  • Update of replacement levy status

We would ask that Managing Trustees notify TMCP directly via email of any key information, given the temporary issues as noted above. We will discuss with you how best to address matters, such as confirmation of District consent to urgent transactions, but planning ahead is key. TMCP is clearly not responsible for any delays to transactions caused by the servers being down and although we appreciate that the online consent system being temporarily unavailable may be an inconvenience, this is out of the control of the staff at TMCP. We would ask that you bear this in mind when speaking to or corresponding with members of the Team.

To ensure transactions continue to progress we would ask that any documentation for review is sent to TMCP directly where possible using the email address legal@tmcp.org.uk

Thank you for your patience at this time.
