Following the third tranche of reforms to the Charities Act 2011 (brought in by the Charities Act 2022), which came into force on 7 March 2024, TMCP has updated its various template clauses that are required to be included in transactional documents which involve Methodist property.
TMCP are pleased to let Managing Trustees know that the following template clauses have been updated:
- Sale Template Clauses
- Burial Ground Template Clauses
- Non-Residential Lease Template Clauses
- Non-Residential Lease Ancillary Documents Template Clauses
If Managing Trustees currently have any ongoing transactions which did not complete before 7 March 2024, please can they ensure that they direct their Legal Advisors to review these updated clauses and ask their Legal Advisors to make the necessary changes and send the documents to TMCP for review and approval.
