Lease Check-In Questionnaire

This “Lease Check-In Questionnaire” has been prepared for Managing Trustees who are following the Streamlining Process for leases i.e. any lease where a panel firm is to be instructed. For guidance on the process please refer to the Streamlining Page and the Lease Streamlined Flowchart.

To take the first steps in the lease streamlining process, please download the “Lease Check-In Questionnaire” (link below), complete the information you feel you can provide at this stage and email TMCP in time for your Check-In meeting. The questionnaire helps us to gather information about your plans for the property so that we can provide initial guidance, discuss any potential sticking points and help you to start your lease journey on the best footing.

While the questionnaire requests information it would be helpful for us to know at this early stage, please don’t worry if you are unsure of any of the answers. We will go through the questionnaire with you when we hold the Check-In meeting and can complete any missing information then. Section A lists the documents it would be helpful for you to provide. Section B asks you to provide information about the Managing Trustees and the property you are leasing, and Section C includes key questions about the proposed lease; what you are leasing, who to (if known) and on what terms. The questionnaire also outlines what we will talk about when we meet.
