The trustees of the Central Hall Westminster Trust are seeking to appoint new Property and Legal trustees. The deadline to apply is Friday 2nd May and interviews will be held in London week commencing 12th May 2025.

The Renters' Rights Bill (the Bill) is expected to come into law by Summer 2025 and will bring long promised reforms to the way people rent homes.

TMCP would like to remind managing trustees that it is the time of the year when they should be thinking about submitting their Data Protection Annual Checklist to their Districts. As with previous years the deadline for submission of the Annual Checklist remains 31st May 2025.

By special resolution the members of the 2024 Conference helpfully decided that memoranda of consent will no longer be executed on disposals of Methodist property in England and Wales. A memorandum of consent was previously executed on behalf of the Methodist Council under Model Trust 26 and provided to the buyer or tenant when a property was sold, let or otherwise disposed of.
