The Food Information (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2019 (known as “Natasha's Law”) came into effect from 1 October 2021 in England and Wales. Natasha’s Law is named in memory of Natasha Ednan-Laperouse who died in July 2016 following an allergic reaction to a prepacked sandwich bought from Pret-A-Manger.

We would like to take this opportunity to announce the launch of the new streamlining process which has been introduced by TMCP to reduce the time that is spent on simple property sale transactions where one of the Methodist panel solicitor firms (panel firm) are being instructed by Managing Trustees. This new streamlining process is being rolled out from 1st September 2021.

The second District Data Champion Forum took place via Zoom on Thursday 29 July 2021. We are very grateful to all those District Data Champions who were able to join members of the TMCP Legal team for a constructive and helpful session.

Managing Trustees are advised that there are now three new resources available to them: Updated Retention Schedule for Managing Trustees, The Annual Checklist in a shortened Word version and Guest Wi-Fi Acceptable Use Policy.

As many of you may know by now after recent presentations and the first property roadshows on 12th and 19th May 2021, TMCP is working on new processes that will help streamline many transactions Managing Trustees are involved with.
